WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

2010 ADOPTEES

Our Rescue dogs have had a second chance at a "forever" home,  thanks to the wonderful families who have taken the time and the opportunity to adopt them!  In turn, the families receive boundless appreciation from the adoptees!  What a great combination!  Pictures of these adopted GWP's may be viewed by clicking on this link:  http://gwpcncrescue.community.officelive.com/  On that Menu, click on BRIGHT NEW DAYS.

2010 ADOPTIONS

JANUARY, 2010:  A great story for the new year:

HAAS, the 10 year old gentleman who sought a bit of comfort and companionship, and AGATHA, the 1 1/2 year old happy girl seeking an active family life, were adopted by a father and daughter living in the San Luis Obisbo area.  HAAS will have access to 9 acres;  AGATHA, in her new home, will have access to over 2000!

2009 ADOPTIONS

MARCH, 2009:  LIBERTY, a six year old female posted from Dec., 2008--Mar., 2009 as a Courtesy Listing for the S CA Rancho Coastal Humane Society has been adopted!  Perseverance succeeds!

APRIL, 2009:  HANK and ALICE, both posted in March, each have been adopted. Hank has found his hunting home, and Alice is with a family and another canine for companionship!

MAY, 2009:  KING, an affable young male, found a home in San Francisco willing to share good times with him.

MAY, 2009:  SHELBY, a 2 year old spayed female, found an active, made-to-order home.  She went back to her run, packed up her blanket, and cheerfully greeted her future!  Shelby's listing appeared in May.

MAY, 2009:  RIO, a 1 1/2 year old nice male found running loose in the Concord area, met his future owner at the GWP of S CA Specialty!  They're bonding nicely!

JUNE 2009:  BRISTLES, who had quite a tale to tell, has been adopted by a couple in Idaho! We've been promised a write-up and photos of his journey to his new home. What a wonderful chance at a new and loving life for him!

JULY, 2009:  LAW, approximately 2 years old, a 'perfectly reasonable dog who lived with children of all ages,' found his new home!

JULY, 2009:  WIGGLES,  a 4 1/2 year old male, happy, good with people and other dogs, found an attentive family in Idaho with which he could share his delight.  He will share the household with other dogs, too!

JULY, 2009: DEXTER,  a 1 1/2 year old handsome male, who loved people and was 'an absolutely wonderful dog,' failed to respond to medication, and, sadly, had to be euthanized. He must have joined a happier crowd across the Rainbow Bridge.

AUGUST, 20O9:  LUCY, a healthy, happy spayed 9 year old GWP has been adopted by a family specifically looking for an older GWP!

OCTOBER, 20O9:  MONTY, a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, has found a great new home!

DECEMBER, 20O9:  SLICK, whose owner's illness prompted a new "hunting home" search, found just the right hunting home in the Sacramento area.
